Privacy Policy
Wordmile is a vocabulary app for iPhone that turns a target date into a daily word plan and teaches through Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. In short: we collect no data at all.
What we collect
Nothing. Wordmile has no account, no login and no server of its own. It contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and it does not ask for your advertising identifier.
What stays on your device
Everything the app needs is stored only on your iPhone and is deleted when you delete the app:
- your goal, target date and level, and your progress with each word
- your settings, such as the reminder time and theme
- words you add yourself, and sentences you create with “New sentence”
The widgets read the same data through a storage area shared only between the app and its widgets on your device.
On-device features
Pronunciation uses the speech voices built into iOS. On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, “New sentence” uses Apple's on-device language model. Both run entirely on your iPhone; nothing you study is sent to us or to anyone else.
Reminders
If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled as a local notification by your iPhone. No push service is involved.
Purchases
Wordmile Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your name, payment details or Apple Account. The app only checks on your device whether a purchase is active. Purchases are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children
Wordmile does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
